It was also called as Cry of Pugad Lawin - and during the show the meaning of the cry is the cry of rebellion which means the Filipinos were finally awaken and brave enough to face the Spaniard to stop their dominion over the Philippine Islands. The scene that caught the attention of the audience was when the actors with a teary eyes , pulled out their cedulas and tore them into pieces and they shout "Long Live the Philippine Republic" , which means from that moment ,it was the beginning of the formal declaration of the separation from Spanish rule.
