1- The development of European exploration in the New World was an event that did not occur quickly.

  1. Choose ONE of the following and explain why your choice represents the event that hindered European exploration in the New World.

Black Death of Black Plague in Europe is a type of fever that led to millions of European people's death in a matter of short period of time. Somehow, we can relate it in to the Spanish Flu or the corona virus outbreak that we are experiencing, its just that the Black Death is milder than the said two other virus as it is only spread out in Europe during that time that hindered on the exploration of Europe in the New world as they are that time experiencing health and death issues of millions of their people in European countries.

 a) Contrast your choice against ONE of the other options, demonstrating why that option is not as significant as your choice.

In my opinion all three options has a significant contributions in hindering the exploration of Europe in the New world during that time, it's just that for me, the Black death gives more challenges to the European government that time than the other as they are fighting that time to an unseen enemy which is the flu that causes millions of European lives.

 b) Evaluate how the event you identified in (a) paved the way for some European nations to begin exploring and settling the New World before others.

As the Black Death is rising, I can say that it also gives way to pave its way to some European nations to begin exploring other countries in search for the medication also for the health and death crisis that Europe is experiencing that time that leads to improvement of their health system and exploration of other lands.
