In the "Looking Ahead" section of the Beginning your Study of World Religions module, you were introduced to some Basic Classification Terms. After reviewing those terms, select one (or a few) that you think best apply to each of the Indian religions we have studied so far: Hinduism, Jainism, and Buddhism. Be sure to defend your selections. You should proceed as follows:
- Title your initial thread with some of the terms you have selected as a preview of the content. Titling it "India Discussion" or something similar could result in a deduction (the word "discussion" should not appear in the title anywhere). - What term or terms best describe Hinduism? Explain your choice(s).- What term or terms best describe Jainism? Explain your choice(s). - What term or terms best describe Buddhism? Explain your choice(s).- Provide at least 2 research source citations in MLA format (see below).
Before writing on this topic, you should research the nature of deities in Hinduism, Jainism, and Buddhism. This is because you are required to do research in association with each of the discussion topics so that you can provide well-informed opinions. Ensure that you provide original writing (do not copy the words of your sources) and that the citations are in proper MLA (Modern Language Association) citation format: MLA Format.
