PROJECT STEPS
1.
Storio Self Storage has several locations in the region. As they expand
operations into indoor units, you create an introductory presentation to
potential new investors. Since many people are unfamiliar with the industry,
you begin by linking to a report explaining the subject.
On Slide 2 (“Where Americans Keep Their Stuff”), hyperlink the table text “Self
Storage Trends” to the file

download from the SAM website.

With Slide 2 still displaying format the table as follows:
a.
Distribute the table rows.
b.
Apply the
Soft Round
cell bevel effect to the table.
3.
With Slide 2 still displaying, insert the picture

website and then format the picture as follows:
a.
Change the height to
4”
and the width will change to approximately
6”

b.
Use Smart Guides to position
the picture next to the text box
as shown in
Figure 1 below.

Embed the chart from the file

Apply

Save your changes, close the presentation, and then exit PowerPoint. Follow the
