Choose any current topic that appears problematic from an ethical point of view. You can take any direction you want: animal rights, refugee rights, human rights, recent political or world events, etc. When you are ready with a topic, choose a position on this issue and write an argumentative essay about it. Your essay must be 1500 words long and have at least 5 quoted reputable sources referenced in APA style.

NOTE: A thoughtful argumentative essay must include an introduction with a clear argumentative thesis statement, at least three body paragraphs, a counter argument paragraph, and a conclusion.
