Philosophy question "Where does happiness come from?" I posited that its a lack of desire (I thought of diogenes and Alexander) but I'm struggling to elaborate here
Mainly, happiness comes form the most powerful feeling which is "LOVE". Here is why:
(1) If you LOVE what you are doing, whether an activity, hobby, sport, job, etc., you will enjoy doing it; thus happiness comes in. Even you work on a simple company with a low paying rate as long as you are doing what you LOVE, you'll be very happy with it.
(2) If you see your LOVED ones happy, healthy, and safe, you'll live happy. You won't feel worried and lonely because you know that the ones you care for are safe and happy. That gives impact to your general mood and perspectives.
(3) If you LOVE yourself and embrace every flaws you have, no one can bring you down. People who bully and criticize are always around us. But our belief and trust with ourselves may disappear if we let ourselves be affected by those people. Loving yourself and choosing to look for the brighter side of life would bring you happiness.
