Even though we may not believe that what Rockefeller did at the time was okay, looking back, it seems as though he was trying to do the right thing. He could've gone about that in a better way, but given the circumstances, he just did what he thought was best. He was just trying to make the economy more successful, and in the process, he became more successful himself. The other successful businessmen of the time were also just trying to provide, and to do what was best for them. They became invested in businesses, and actually wanted to see them grow. Again, they probably could've done it in a less selfish way, but now we know that that is not how corporations should be ran. ( read and exlain in 100 words)
