Relationships are complex bondings that happen between people.The complex word is associated with them as there is no one particular way or a guide that defines how a relationship should be.These are dynamic and change as per situation and the reactions of the parties involved.Unlike contracts between people which are guided and well known,relationships have no clear definitions meaning that it lies completely in the hands of the people carrying them out.

As the world has gone through stages of evolution,the stages and nature of the relationships have also evolved accordingly.This has happened primarily because the gender roles have started to become flexible and the older notions have been widely challenged.The evolution has broken the stereotypes and practices widely prevelant where roles were defines according to gender with male having more to do with professional work and women to do with family.

However,the evolution has made these roles fluid with women taking up work over families.The languages have also evolved as men had to give the long due space to women and had to accept the fact that the world is equal and what is theirs belongs to women as well.This meant treating the women same as they would do with men in their place.The language,body and spoken both has evolved,to give respect as is required by a professional relationship and this has been one step towards a more inclusive society complex of today.

However,as the evolution has happened,the impact on the relationships has also changed.Earlier,the higher dependence of one gender on another lead to an outlook of making things work.However,with time,when the dependency decreased the people became expressive,openly,without any fear of reprisal,meaning that it became an equal field.Progressive people took it well whereas some people who supported patriarchy felt threatened,leading to consequences of broken marriages where partners aren't equal.Also,the financial independence gave an assertiveness to people,where they can express themselves freely leading to clashes and thereby increased divorces.However,for people who look for partnerships in marriages,this was the greatest opportunity and they welcomed it openly leading to higher cohabitation.The acceptance of different types of relationships have also increased,especially since the legislations have come up where the same gender relationships have been legalized by many court of laws.

The pop culture has had a significant impact on these as the pop culture normalized the idea of such relationships which were previously looked down upon.They allowed people a breathing space where people could relate to something and then widely practice it.It removed the fear and allowed people to openly express themselves.
