Please respond to the following:
Strengths:
The strengths of talent management are determined because it enables the organization to find out the best candidates for the company. The hiring and recruitment process is a usual process that has been changed over time, and it is the process that helps to hire competent candidates. Moreover, the compelling environment of an organization can be found by talent management. It is seen that the abilities and skills of the candidates can be analyzed better through this process. It is observed that the candidates are selected through the merit process.
Weakness:
The weakness of talent management consists of different factors, and it is seen that the skills and talents cannot be found in an interview. The managers cannot access the abilities of certain individuals through a single process. Sometimes, the candidates could not interview or any other appointing process, and the talent management program does not entertain them. It has been seen that the merit process does not hire candidates if unfavorable circumstances exist. The weaknesses of talent management show that favoritism usually prevails in organizations, and it discourages several candidates.
Opportunities:
The organization can use the resources in the best way, and the principle of division of labor is implemented. The organization does not implement the talent management process to hire certain employees, but it is also used for existing employees to improve their skills. The division of labor allows the employees to give their best talents, show better skills to managers, and play a significant role in the organization's success. It is further seen that the managers can see the talented employees and promote them accordingly.
Threats:
Several threats occur in the talent management process for the organization. First, the employees are not given a chance to show their talents because if the managers do not access the skills or talents properly, it occurs. The employees cannot assign their favorite duties, so they are forced to do the assigned duties, and it is possible those duties do not show their best skills. The hiring, recruiting, and other steps of talent management may increase the expenditures, and the organization's reputation is at stake if something wrong happens.
