IMF's activities in the developing world leads to conflict of interests in a way that the IMF have a common objectives to all members but the members have different interests from each other.In this way you may find the IMF has lend one of its member some amount of money which they have agreed to pay after a duration of period.After the period is over the member decides not to pay and by that time there is another member in need of funds but the organization does not have enough funds this leads to inconveniences and conflict of interest occurs between the members and the organization.
The goal of the IMF is to ensure its member are financially stable and achieves an economic growth which is balanced.
It achieves its goal by always coming through for its members wherever they are in form of crisis which may require both technical and financial assistance
