Now that you understand what we will learn in this course, write a short personal response [250-300 words] to the question: What do you hope to gain from this course?

 

I hope to gain a lot from this course due to its simplified and diversified aspects that ensure one understands their work. I hope to gain skills in time management and employ them in my day-to-day activities and within a workplace in the future. Time management is vital in ensuring tasks are executed and completed within the stipulated time to avoid wasting too much time dealing with one issue. I also hope to gain techniques on active reading where I will always highlight or underline phrases that have much significance. Further, I hope to acquire these techniques to expand my thinking and conceptualization of ideas. I hope to gain techniques on learning comprehension to help me in various life settings in questioning, visualizing, predicting, and making inferences.

           Additionally, I hope to understand and grasp pre-writing techniques to ensure my writing standards are of high quality and appealing to the reader. As time goes by, I hope to understand how one can develop quality written scripts and editorials. From this course, I hope to grasp literature and its dynamics. The meaning is often overlooked, and I would appreciate it if I gained more information about how literature works, its challenges, and how it has stood up against all odds despite facing backlashes over time. I also hope to gain the momentum and capability to express my aspects within the literature with error-free grammar and well-outlined sentence structure. I believe the course materials will serve a great purpose to make this a success. This course will improve my interpersonal skills and open up my mind to various aspects of literature.
