The Nike's ad on creating awareness about Black lives matter campaign

Clothing brands, Nike and Adidas, who are competitors, decided to come together to fight against racism in the United States. Nike posted a video on Twitter remembering the death of George Floyd, which was shared by Adidas.

The commercial posted on social media goes on to say 'For once, don't do it'. The video, which calls everyone to unite and be part of the change, is liked by more than 1.7 lakh Twitter followers. Seeing this heartfelt message, Adidas shares the commercial saying together we can move forward and change.

The Nike's ad was predominantly focused on creating awareness among the society as to not being silent towards the ethical and racial issues that has been going on and to ensure each citizen of the country as well as the world raise their voice against racism which were reverberating throughout world organizations which helped in reaching the message to various parts of the world and hence brought major awareness on the extremely sensitive issue of racial abuse and discrimination on the basis of skin color among people living in the country.

This ensured citizens world wide that these multinational companies have sincere social responsibilities which they openly recognize and contribute actively to the same while we saw many of the multinational companies contributing a large sum of funds for the black lives matter campaign and other social issues as part of their corporate social responsibility and also over and above that by spending more than what is actually needed by them on the specific criteria while going on to show the customers and other stakeholders that they are more than just a profit making enterprise and that they are too are one among the citizens of the country and creating a sound awareness on one of the most long standing social issues in almost every country which has turned worse in recent times.
