Do you think that a work place should offer more incentives to employees, which encourages healthier lifestyles? I used to work at the corporate center for Goodyear Tires, and they have a program that promoted healthy lifestyles. There is a beautiful large gym on the premises, a health coach, free health testing, a cafeteria that served a variety of healthy food, and various other benefits. However, what I saw is, the majority of the gym goers were under the age of 40. Very few 40, 50 and 60 year olds go. So, even with a free gym with state-of- the-art equipment at everyones disposable, it is still hard to motivate individuals.
