Therefore, when the government gives the subsidies to the pottery products it lowers the prices of the products hence enabling the customers to purchase more and this increases the demand of the products. also, when the government increases the prices of the foreign products especially those of the pottery it enables those that are manufactured locally to be purchased more and this increases the demand. When the taxes are increased it will raise the prices of the pottery products and therefore lowers the demand.

The demand for pottery products will increase if consumer's taste changes in favor of the commodity and any unfavorable change in taste or preference will reduce the demand for the pottery products. The purpose of purchasing pottery is for serving the purpose that is purchased for hence satisfying the needs. If the taste is that of required then the demand will increase the demand of the pottery products.
