Mary Parker works at Dell's Electronics. She oversees the marketing department at the company. She has been a part of the Dell Electronics family for over twenty years. Many of her colleagues describe her as very enthusiastic and energetic. She has also been described as hard-working and trustworthy. She takes much pride in her work and inspires confidence in the team with whom she works. She is often the first one to arrive at work and the last one to leave. She proudly wants to own her own electronics store one day.   

 

She started out as a customer service representative and worked in that capacity for five years.  She was later promoted to customer service supervisor. This position she held for five years.  Now she proudly heads the Marketing Team. This office she has had for over ten years. She was very instrumental in redrafting the Mission Statement of the company and speaks highly of the company as if it was her own. She has won many top awards such as customer service representative of the year, supervisor of the year and manager of the year. She always refers to her staff as the "marketing team of which I am a part.' She often uses words and phrases such as "we," "our team," "the marketing family." She is always keen on involving members of her team in decision-making activities and many of her co-workers see her as a friend.
