They identify many techniques, evidence-based practice by doing various research to increase the advanced practice in nursing. The nurse leader manages the staff and distributes the work to the clinical nurse for the provision of high-quality care to the patient. They plan many classes or programs for the development of the clinical nurse. It means that they are having high knowledge and good in practical skills regarding advanced practices in nursing.
Cons
- Even though they have adequate knowledge or skills, they never provide care directly to the patient. This leads to less confidence in handling the patient as compared to clinical nurses. So it will controversy for making nurse leader and the nurse educator as advanced nurse practice.
I agree with the roles of nurse educator and nurse leader as advance nurse practice. They are the nurses who improve the quality of nursing care by providing the evidence base practice and updating the knowledge of the clinical nurse. For example, nurse educator conducting research and interpreting many evidence base practice. If they are not present then there will be still lack of quality of patient care due to lack of evidence base practice and not updating the practices not time. So I feel they are playing the importance roles in advance practice and they are the sources of advance nurse practice.
