Parasites are organisms which require a host to acquire its food and nutrients at the expense of the host. Endoparasites are parasites which live inside their host. Since the environmental conditions inside the body of the host is relatively constant, the endoparasites developed sensory organs which are highly reduced and simple. This is due to the fact that they do not need a highly complex sensory system inside a host resulting to the loss of unnecessary sense organs.

In terms of economics, underdeveloped countries obviously have numerous reasons as to why they have greater number of parasitic cases in contrast to developed countries. These reasons include poor sanitation, contaminated water, food, soil, poor education, poor sexual hygiene, crowded houses, poor sewage facilities, and poor nutrition, hence, all these factors contributes to the high infectivity rates of these parasites because they thrive in these conditions and gets easily transmitted due to these modes of transmission and conditions.

 

In terms of technology, undeveloped countries have limited resources in healthcare facilities, equipments, and healthcare workers which results to lesser services given to the people. Therefore, parasitic infections is not screened early on its course of infection and is not treated properly leading to greater chance of spreading the parasites to the community.

 

Lastly, in terms of biological properties of parasites, they are adapted to reproduce easily in tropical and sub-tropical regions which are mostly underdeveloped countries because these regions are hot and humid which are favorable conditions that suits their reproductive system to infect and spread their offsprings. Furthermore, their vectors and hosts are mostly seen in these regions thereby, greatly increasing their probability of reproduction.
