What sorts of planning activities do you engage in?
I do always set priorities
Every commitments I take, I make sure that I indicate their deadlines, importance and necessity. I then make a list of priorities and do first things first. During the day for instance, I start with the most important tasks that needs a lot of attention to finish them. In the afternoons, I do the light stuff.
I make timely schedules and deadlines
Making a calendar of my activities and tasks enables me to be on time always. After every tasks I set a 30 min break to enable me adjust slowly and ready my self for the next activity. Using this system everything I do is always on time and therefore am never rushing.
I uni-tasks and set individual times for my actions
This enables me to finish up and clear a given commitment from my schedule. Multitasking means that you will leave everything halfway and sooner all later you will have a lot of things on your desk to finish up.
Am always keen never to procrastinate
I am well aware that procrastination is the number one cause of haste, disorganization and disorientation. Therefore in order to make my life easy, organized and less demanding, I make sure that I complete tasks at their stipulated time. That way not one task will spill over to the time I am supposed to be doing another.
Regular decluttering
Every Saturday, I take time to organize my house from the study area to the kitchen to the garage. This helps me puts things back in order when they are about to clutter everywhere.
Keeping only what I need
Less stuff means easier organization. I am not a hoarder and I immediately dispose one item before I get a replacement. This keeps my house and office tidy and free for new functional items.
I delegate responsibilities and work hard to uphold my own
I make to do list and delegate tasks to available people in order to ease my schedule. I then work myself off to make sure that I do my part of the responsibility
