Pain is the defense system of body part which uses painful stimulus to produce reflexive retraction, pain causes unpleasant feeling in the body makes one to have changed behavior. Pain scientist explains that the role of adaptive pain is to ensure that pain helps in healing the body part injured through creation of situations discouraging movement and physical contact.

Pain plays an important role in our daily lives, it inhibit the experiences which are unpleasant and also elicit empathy and ensures social support. It also benefit defense systems because it enhance motivation which accumulate resources like social support, pain is also important in every human life since it is vital for survival of health. Pain also protect the healing part of the body and ensures that such harmful situations are avoided in the future.

If one has no sense of pain it means that one is more likely to be hurt because loss of sensation implies that awareness of where the body is has been lost. The feeling of pain makes one to automatically react and pull away instantly from harm and also help the body to void harmful situation in the future.
