INTERVIEW PLANNING QUESTION: ( talk about your experiences I just want to see how to answer these questions as an example )

Using the STAR technique, you should structure the answer as follows:

S - Outline the situation, in which you needed to act.

T - Identify the task (or objective), which you needed to complete (or achieve).

A - Discuss the actions you took, to achieve your objective.

R - Discuss the result of your actions, and what you learned from the experience.

 

Note: Hypothetical questions can also be answered using the STAR technique. i.e "What would you do if...?"

2.     Can you tell us the biggest challenge you faced in your last job and how you dealt with it?

Question 1

I began to analyze the strategies used by the company's competitors and utilize their weak point as strength. This strategy helped to create awareness about the products the company delivered all over the world; as a result, the company's sales began to increase.

Question 2                               

The biggest challenge I faced was the cost required to ensure that the products were available in both the market and most of the online platform. Since the company was experiencing losses, there was no enough money to promote the product. Therefore, I utilized the few platforms that I could afford to advertise the goods widely. I also incorporated discounts and free offers which attracted more customers.

The most difficult decision I have made in the last year was to decide to join and cooperate in teamwork.

My weakness was working in teams. I used to find it difficult to work in a team since I thought it was a waste of time compared to working as an individual. My perception changed when I was included in a team of ensuring sales increased since we all participated in the task, and the results were tremendous.

When the company I was working at was experiencing difficulties, the manager decided to cut off our salaries for three months. Although he explained the reason for his action, it became a problem for me since my family depended on me and my salary was not enough to meet their needs. I decided to be patient and work to boost the economy of the business to its feet again.

As a strategy for marketing, I offered discounts on the products, which was against the company's rules. I risked my job, and I was a stage of being fired if the strategy did not work. I worked hard, and the plan becomes successful since sales of the company increased, and I was eventually promoted.
