your first and last name is displayed in the presenter notes on Slide 1.

If the presenter notes do not display your name, delete the file and
download a new copy from the SAM website.
PROJECT STEPS
1.
Riverside Township Volunteer Club is an organization that creates volunteer
opportunities for residents of Riverside Township. You need to put the final
touches on a presentation describing club news and upcoming volunteer events.
Begin by editing an animation as follows:
a.
On Slide 1 (“Riverside Township Volunteer Club”), change the duration of
the picture of a man with yellow gloves animation to
00.80
.
b.
In the Animation pane, move the picture of a man with yellow gloves
animation up above the picture of a woman carrying a box.
2.
On Slide 2 (“Upcoming Volunteer Activities”), adjust the hands motion path
animation by clicking the motion path ending point and then dragging it to the
bottom right corner of the slide, as shown in Figure 1 on the next page. (
Hint
:
Only move the left end point of the motion path. If you accidentally drag any
other point on the motion path, press CTRL+Z to undo that action and try
again.)

With Slide 2 still displaying, dim the bulleted list Enhancements After animation
color to
gray

color in the color gallery).
4.
On Slide 3 (“
Upcoming Volunteer Training Programs
”), animate the picture of
the volunteer as follows:

Apply the

Entrance animation

5.
On Slide 4 (“Volunteers of the Month”), animate the SmartArt as follows:

Sequence effect option.
6.
On Slide 5 (“Volunteer Potluck”), use the Animation Painter to apply the title
text animation to the WordArt animation for consistency.

With Slide 5 still displaying, apply the
Swivel
Entrance animation to the picture
on the right

8.
On Slide 6 (“Annual Volunteer Club Summit”), format the picture of the
microphone as follows:

Use the bottom-center cropping handle to crop the picture to a height of

In Slide Sorter view, your presentation should look like the Final Figure below. Save your
changes, close the presentation, and then exit PowerPoint. Follow the directions on the
SAM website to submit your completed project.
