There are several administrative agencies that governs regulatory compliance of the manufacturer. All these agencies serve different purpose. Some of the important federal regulatory agencies that governs regulatory compliance of the manufacturer are as follows:

• The Environmental Protection Agency (EPA): This agency regulates quality of air & water apart from toxic waste. It administers different laws that are connected to environment. It regulates laws related to pesticides, water &, air pollution, toxic substances, solid wastes and other pollutants. This agency informs paint manufacturers about the allowed limit of toxins in their paints.
• The Food and Drug Administration (FDA): This agency regulates food products and drug and medical practices in order to protect public health.
• The Occupational Safety and health administration (OSHA): This agency regulates workplace safety and health standards.
• Consumer Product Safety Commission (CPSC): It protects public from risk of death and injury that is associated with consumer products.

After going through the whole scienerio I have developed an opinion that President's actions regarding the issue are unethical. He is only thinking about his profits and want to ignore the hazardous impact on the marine environment. He is being morally incorrect in his actions by not only trying to ignore such a big issue but also instead of taking corrective and preventive actions to avoid such a situation in future, he wants to pull other employees in his unethical actions.

As the findings of internal research are not only known by Eric. Eric should disclose this information to a relevant department by hiding his identity under whistle blowers protection act. His identity wont be disclosed and he can report the violation of law by his employer. This will keep his identity hidden and he will not loose his job.
