• Active listening-the ability to listen to and understand the team members by keeping engaged in a positive way without judgment or interrupting. This is important in organization projects as it gets people to open up and avoid instances of misunderstandings and conflicts. This is important as it ensures that the organization goals are achieved on time and projects don't delay or take long to be completed.
• Building relationships based on trust and respect-trust and respect promote openness and willingness to share ideas and information freely and this is important as sharing ideas enhances work and improves productivity in the organization and quality of products.
• Confidence-in the workplace people are more likely to take seriously and respond accordingly to information presented with confidence .When communicating some ideas or important issues ensure that you are confident enough to persuade your listeners and make then take the information seriously.
• Enhancing two way communication that is giving and receiving feedback-in organizations ensure that the management or the top management respond to feedbacks from the team members .Feedback ensures that questions from the members are answered and provide solutions or help that improve skills for successful project.
• When communicating it is important to be clear and audible .Adjust your volume to ensure that communication is effective to avoid circumstances of unrest.
• Empathy-this is an important skill in communication and it ensures that you understand other people's emotions and respond appropriately with the right tone .As well empathy enables one to understand when the the team is positive and cooperating and therefore help get support for your ideas and projects.
• Read and understand nonverbal communication including body language ,eye contact and facial expressions. This is important as it enables one to understand when the audience is is paying attention to what they are saying and their responses. This is important as it helps one to change their communicating styles to enable the the listeners to be attentive.
• Respond to messages and questions as fast as possible .Fast responsiveness is an effective way of communicating to enable organizations and projects to meet their goals on time and for productivity.
• Calmness and consistency- remain clam when communicating with others especially in the cases of disagreement and conflicts in the workplace .Maintaining consistent body language and tone of voice is important to reach a productive conclusion.
• Assert yourself by being able to stand up for yourself and others in a clam and positive way without being aggressive while communicating with others.
