He may emerge as a leader in a group depending on his personality and qualities, or he can be created by the collective consent of the group members. The leader is in a position to influence and control the behavior of his group. The other members are expected to comply with their desires and directives. This implies there exists a relationship between the group members and the leader, which is characterized by social interaction and influence.  A leader must have the ability to motivate others and communicate with them so that they can be proud of. They must also have an honest understanding of themselves. To be successful in this field, you have to convince your followers that you deserve to be followed. This can help build confidence in your followers that you can lead. It is also a great way to start a new life. Generally, I believe that leaders are made rather than being born.

Researchers have tried to come up with terms that they can use to describe and understand leadership. Today, it is considered a mysterious and complex concept that most people do not understand. There is no single or specific definition for leadership, as various studies have different definitions. Most of the time, the goal is usually directed towards a specific group. Cragg & Spurgeon (2018) defined leadership as a relationship between an individual or group and its leader, who sets the direction for the group. Silva (2016) stated that leaders play an essential role in developing an organization by creating a climate that influences employee behavior and attitudes. Besides, Kotagal & Pellegrini (2018) stipulates that leadership is a process that involves people voluntarily contributing to a common goal. The values of leadership help a group or organization reach its potential. My definition is aligned with the definition from literature because they both at the relationship between the leader and the follower.

Leadership is more than just having a title. It is more than just being in a place of authority. Listening, application, honestly, and learning are some of the qualities that constitute good leadership. A good do the right thing with minimal supervision and goes outside the box in his way of doing things and, even when times are hard, encourages others to keep pressing on. Authenticity, caring, and passion constitute leadership and not being born in a well-off background (Cragg & Spurgeon, 2018). A good leader should be able to risk everything they have for others. Leaders should be able to make things better for those that surround them.

One of the essential qualities of a good leader is having self-confidence. Believing in one's abilities and powers is what constitutes self-confidence. Our local pastor has all these qualities. His views are always positive and build those who surround him. The ability to make decisions confidently and committing to them can be attributed to our local pastor, making an experience with him unforgettable.

Moreover, an excellent leadership quality he possesses is communication. He clearly expresses himself, and the people around him are impacted positively by the message spoken. In addition to the qualities that make him stand out is integrity. In any situation, he tells the truth and is honest in everything he says. This quality about has had a greater impact on me and the society at large. Honesty has become my part of my life too.
